Cast Application Training Set
The Semeda C.A.T.S Cast Application Training Set is a practical training model for plaster cast placement using the Ponseti method. One of the critical success factors of the Ponseti method is the correct fixation of the redressed foot by means of a cast. With the anatomical Cast Application Set (C.A.S.T) from Semeda, you can demonstrate and practice the redressing of the clubfoot as well as the subsequent casting. The set includes two anatomically formed small children‘s legs made of polyurethane - one with an uncorrected and one with a partially corrected clubfoot. For the practice, the small legs are attached to a fixture made of plexiglas, the clubfoot is redressed according to the Ponseti method and then cast in the manipulated position. This is ideal for workshops, demonstration purposes and for providing practical indepth information about the method.
